  It's beautiful for locals, doubly so for tourists. A must see if you're ever in the downtown Dunedin area it's just a hop skip and jump away. There's a safe and sizable playground (has a pirate ship cool right?) in the middle are the restrooms and resting area, next to that is an area where people often get together and play music. There's also a huge area for a nice relaxing picnic. If you want to go fishing they're plenty of area's to the fishing pier, to around the boat harbour to a walk 10 mins south on the sidewalk (where the picture was taken). Also they're plenty of eateries right there at the park.
